Weddings are crazy fun. Everything that matters is there to be found.

When the first wedding you ever shoot is set amongst the ruins of a 17th-century Spanish church in dense fog, you never look back. You are forever taken by the tremendous gift you seem to have been given—to capture love, family, community, ritual, and new beginnings. In this image, Abigail and Joel walk into their new life together. In the back, unseen, I am walking into mine.

I wanted to work with Greta from the moment we emailed. She referred to her fiancé as her “fiancé person man.” That did it for me. Then I found out that their wedding website was www.trueloveforevereternalharmonyflowerflower.biz. I was sold.
There are couples we meet as wedding photographers who will forever inspire us. Not just photographically, but as people, as personalities, and as personalities together. Their vows and toasts make us laugh and cry.
We want to be part of their inner circle, and for a day, we are.

This is Rachael's little sister, a junior bridesmaid, who I may or may not have fallen in love with, along with every other person at this entire wedding. No joke. Take me back.

Okay yes, I also fell in love with every single person at Farihah and Jeff's wedding at Basilica Hudson. DO YOU BLAME ME?! Sometimes it can't be helped.
